On behalf of the landowner, ground cubed planning has submitted an application for the land use redesignation (rezoning) of 1608 Home Road NW and 1611 & 1619 46 Street NW in the community of Montgomery.
The site is currently designated/zoned C-COR2 f4.5 h22, which is a commercial district that does not allow for mixed-use development. We are seeking to change the designation to Mixed Use - 1 (MU-1) f4.5 h22. We are seeking to allow for a mix of residential and commercial development, which is not allowed under the site's current C-COR2 designation, with a maximum height of 22 metres. The landowner’s vision for the site is to develop a mixed-use building, featuring commercial at the ground level with residential units above.
Our application received unanimous approval from City Council on November 2, 2022.
